Pacific Union College is a private, liberal arts college located in Napa County, California. On November 8, 2023, Pacific Union sent out letters to 56,041 individuals to inform them that their information had been stolen by hackers during a data breach. The security breach to the college’s computer system occurred sometime between March 5 and March 19, 2023. The unauthorized party who breached the Pacific Union computer system was able to access private information including individuals’ full names, Social Security numbers, home addresses, driver’s license numbers, email addresses, financial information and Student Aid Report information.
