AmpUp, Inc. is a company which makes electric vehicle charging operating systems for businesses and property owners. AmpUp has locations in Santa Clara, California and Somerville, Massachusetts. Around October 25, 2025, AmpUp’s Stripe payment platform used by the company for online transactions was accessed by an unauthorized party. This hacker was somehow able to initiate fraudulent purchases, and it is unclear what personal information may have been exposed during the incident.
