Athena Manufacturing is an Austin, Texas-based company which produces metal machining equipment. On February 4, 2026, the Texas Attorney General posted notice of a data breach of the Athena Manufacturing computer system. While it is not clear exactly what occurred or what data was involved, data breaches generally have to be reported to the state of Texas when they involve sensitive information such as names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, biometric data, certain types of financial information, and more.
