Family Independence, Inc. is headquartered in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and offers residential services for at-risk families and teens. In May of 2025, their computer network was targeted in a cyberattack which compromised data stored there. Family Independence notified the Massachusetts Attorney General and has sent notice letters to affected individuals. The exposed data may include names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers and other information.
