What Happened?
Between May 7 and June 9, 2025, Fitify, a widely used mobile fitness app with over 25 million downloads, left a cloud storage bucket open to the public. As a result, approximately 373,000 files were exposed—including over 138,000 user-submitted progress photos, 206,000 profile pictures, 13,000 AI-generated fitness coach media files, and 6,000 full-body 3D scans. The leaked content includes highly sensitive biometric and personal fitness data that was not properly secured.
