Harbor Data Breach

Harbor is a mental health and substance use disorder treatment center in Northwest Ohio. Recently, Harbor posted a notice on its website regarding a data breach which exposed sensitive patient information. The notice advises that the Harbor computer network was accessed by an unauthorized party in July of 2025.  At that time, highly confidential information belonging to Harbor patients was breached including different combinations of names, addresses, birth dates, Social Security numbers, ID numbers, medical information, financial information and health insurance information.

Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
