Hope Cooperative Data Breach
About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!
TLCS, Inc. is a nonprofit organization which provides mental health services under the operating name Hope Cooperative in Sacramento, California. In February of 2025, Hope Cooperative discovered that their computer system had been breached through an employee email account. At that time, an unauthorized party was able to access and view both personal and protected health information entrusted to Hope Cooperative. This could include names, Social Security numbers, contact information, driver’s license numbers, financial information, medical information and health insurance information.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds. Protected health information is especially prized by digital criminals.
