Houston Housing Authority Data Breach

About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!
The Houston Housing Authority operates public and affordable housing for low-income Houston families. On March 28, 2025 they notified the Texas Attorney General of a data breach to their computer systems which compromised sensitive information belonging to 30,000 people. The hackers who gained access may have stolen data including names, dates of birth, addresses, Social Security numbers, financial account information, driver’s license numbers, health insurance information and more.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
