About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!
PharMerica Corporation is a pharmacy that has locations in every state in the U.S. and predominantly serves long-term care, senior living, behavioral health facilities and hospital management programs. They are owned by BrightSpring Health Services and both companies are based in Louisville, Kentucky. Patients may not even know that PharMerica was the pharmacy used to process their prescriptions, but their information is kept in PharMerica’s database. Earlier in April of 2023, PharMerica was hacked by a ransomware group who demanded payment in exchange for the information they had stolen. They claimed to have stolen patient names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, Medicaid and Medicare numbers, and protected health information.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
How do you know if you were affected? If you received a letter from PharMerica Corporation notifying you that your personal information was impacted in their data breach, contact us to find out if you may be eligible for compensation!
