Polaris 2024-2025 Ranger XD 1500 ROV Recall

On January 16, 2025, Polaris Industries announced a recall of their 2024-2025 Ranger XD 1500 and Crew XD 1500 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles. This announcement comes after it was discovered that these models have a defect which causes the door to open while the vehicle is moving. This flaw can cause any of the following:

• a passenger or driver being ejected

• the door opening and slamming onto extremities while driving or trying to close it

• pets or belongings falling out of the vehicle

• crash due to distracted driving
