About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifying information may have been stolen!
United Steelworkers Local 286 (“USL 286”) started sending out notice letters this month to nearly 38,000 of its members, letting them know that their personal information had been exposed when a hacker gained access to the USL 286 computer system. If you are a member of USL 286, an unauthorized third party has accessed your full name, Social Security number, date of birth, financial account information, driver’s license or state ID numbers, passport number, and protected health information.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
How do you know if you were affected? If you received a letter from United Steelworkers Local 286 notifying you that your personal information was impacted in their data breach, contact us to find out if you may be eligible for compensation!
