The University of St. Thomas is a Catholic university located in Houston, Texas. In August of 2025, as the new school year was commencing, the University of St. Thomas computer system was hit by a cyberattack which shut down servers and blocked student access to their schedules and financial aid information. It is unknown as of this writing if private student or employee data was accessed during this breach.
