VeraBank Data Breach
About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!
VeraBank is a private bank which operates locations in East, Central and Southeast Texas. VeraBank uses a third-party software vendor called Marquis which experienced a data breach in August of 2024. (See Marquis Software Solutions Data Breach – Join Class Actions for more information about that breach.) As a result of the Marquis breach, VeraBank data was compromised as well. This exposed information may include names, addresses, birth dates, bank account numbers, and Social Security numbers.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
