Allegheny Health Network Data Breach

Allegheny Health Network is a medical network based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which suffered a data breach through one of its third-party vendors (IntraSystems LLC). IntraSystems had been hired to secure and manage some of Allegheny Health Network’s computer systems. In October of 2024, a hacker infiltrated the network and accessed confidential patient information, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, birth dates, financial account information, health insurance information, and diagnosis and treatment information.
