The Association of Texas Professional Educators is the largest teachers’ association in Texas.  They recently notified the Texas Attorney General of a data breach to their computer system which exposed information belonging to over 414,000 employees and members.

According to the breach notices that went out, the information stolen by the hackers may include such personal identifying information such as names, addresses, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers and Social Security numbers.
