On February 3, 2025, Bayhealth sent a new batch of data breach notices out regarding a ransomware attack that they had initially notified people about back in October of 2024. Bayhealth had discovered more victims of the incident in which personal patient information was stolen from the hospital’s computer system, including personal and protected health information.
