El Centro Del Barrio does business as “CentroMed,” a women’s health center with clinics in San Antonio, Texas.  On August 14, 2023, CentroMed informed the Texas Attorney General that the health clinic’s internal computer network had been breached by a hacker back in June.  During the breach, certain confidential information belonging to 350,000 CentroMed patients was exposed, including: patients’ names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records information, and health insurance plan information.
