Commonwealth Trust Company is a trust administration company based in Wilmington, Delaware. In May of 2025, Commonwealth Trust Company experienced a data breach which compromised data stored in their computer network. On September 19, 2025, Commonwealth Trust Company began mailing notice letters to individuals who data was involved in the breach. This may vary from person to person but could include names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account information, medical records and health insurance information.
