Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services in Scranton, PA recently announced a data breach which affected 22,215 people.  Private health data belonging to these people was accessed by an unauthorized party who hacked into the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services computer system in October of 2024.  The data that hacker may have accessed is said to include names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health insurance information, medical information and more.
