Fairmont Federal Credit Union is located in Fairmont, West Virginia.  They recently notified the Maine Attorney General of a data breach to their computer systems which affected people as far away as New England.  The breach to the Fairmont Federal Credit Union network occurred in 2023, was discovered in 2024 and 183,000 affected individuals are just now being informed that their data was involved. The stolen data may include names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial data, medial data, health insurance information and more.
