About the Investigation:

Did You Receive A Data Breach Notice From FloatMe?

If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!

FloatMe is a fintech company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas which recently reported a December 2025 data breach. Notice letters were sent out to impacted individuals on January 5, 2026. The incident occurred when an unknown party obtained customer usernames and passwords and attempted to log into FloatMe accounts. The types of data which may have been exposed during the incident could include usernames, passwords, addresses, phone numbers, and some financial information.

Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.

How do you know if you were affected? If you receive a notification from FloatMe alerting you that your private information was impacted in their data breach, OR if you’ve done business with them, contact us to find out if you may be eligible for compensation!

What should you do if you were affected? If the notice letter you receive offers you credit monitoring services, you should sign up for them.  Keep a copy of the data breach notice letter for your records and monitor your accounts for any fraudulent activity. Change the passwords to any accounts you currently have and contact an attorney who can help you with next steps by filling out the form on this page!
