Instituto de Ojos is an ophthalmologist located in Carolina, Puerto Rico. On May 19, 2025, Instituto de Ojos announced a data breach to their computer network which compromised the sensitive data of 50,000 patients stored there, including names, addresses, dates of birth, medical information and health insurance information.
