Johnson & Wales University (JWU) is a private college with campuses in Providence, Rhode Island and Charlotte, North Carolina. On September 19, 2024, JWU notified the Maine Attorney General of a data breach to the JWU computer network which the university discovered in July. The notification says that the information of 22,710 individuals was affected, and this may include names, Social Security numbers and financial information.
