Kettering Health is a healthcare system in Ohio, comprised of hospitals and outpatient clinics. On May 20, 2025, the Kettering Health computer system was breached in a ransomware attack which caused system failures throughout their many locations. Because their call center and IT systems were down, Kettering was forced to cancel all patient appointments. The full extent of compromised patient information is not yet known.
