Mastery Schools is the largest charter school network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In September of 2024, Mastery Schools suffered a ransomware attack to their computer system which exposed sensitive information belonging to over 37,000 people. The data accessed by an unauthorized party is said to include student data, medical records, financial information, personal data and Social Security numbers. Data breach notice letters have recently gone out to individuals whose private information was exposed in this breach.
