On January 10, 2023, Maternal & Family Health Services announced a data breach to their computer network, where hackers illegally gained access to sensitive and personal patient information of more than 460,000 people, including:
- Names
- Dates of birth
- Addresses
- Social Security Numbers
- Driver’s license numbers / passport numbers
- Financial account information
- Medical information
- Health insurance information
Hackers do this so that they can steal and sell your personal information on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
