Medtronic MiniMed and MiniMed Distribution Corp. operate as “Medtronic,” a company that sells medical products for diabetics, such as insulin pump systems, blood sugar monitors and injection ports. On April 14, 2023 Medtronic disclosed that information on their computer systems had been exposed to an unauthorized third party. The information accessed includes names, email addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers and protected health information. Medtronic has sent out data breach notification letters to the individuals whose data was exposed in their breach.
