Myrtue Medical Center is a hospital in Harlan, Iowa which serves the Harlan and Shelby County communities.  Myrtue Medical Center’s computer network was a recent target of the “Worldleaks” ransomware hacker group, who claim they stole over 806,000 private hospital files and then demanded a ransom for their return.  The stolen data may include personal information and protected health information.
