NASCAR Data Breach Investigation

About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!
The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, LLC –more commonly known as NASCAR– experienced a data breach to their computer network between March and April of 2025 which exposed names and Social Security numbers. A ransomware group named Medusa has taken credit for the breach and demanded a $4 million ransom back in April to return the stolen information. It is not known whether NASCAR paid the ransom or how much data it involved.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Ransomware gangs break into networks and lock them down or extract data which they then hold for ransom. They can then receive payment from the company or sell the valuable data on the dark web where people purchase it to commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
How do you know if you were affected? If you received a letter from NASCAR notifying you that your private information was impacted in their data breach, contact us to find out if you may be eligible for compensation!
