Rural Health Services Data Breach

About the Investigation:
If so, your sensitive personal identifiable information may have been stolen!
Rural Health Services provides health care to residents of Aiken County, South Carolina and the surrounding area. Recently they posted a Notice of Data Security Incident to their website which explains that in early 2025, the Rural Health Services computer network was breached by an unknown party. At that time, files were stolen — possibly including names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account numbers, medical diagnosis information, prescription information, physician information, Medicare/Medicaid information, and health insurance information. Affected individuals have been notified by mail.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
How do you know if you were affected? If you received a letter from Rural Health Services notifying you that your private information was impacted in their data breach, contact us to find out if you may be eligible for compensation!
