Sabre is a travel software technology company headquartered in Southlake, Texas. On December 9, 2024, the company sent out notice letters regarding a breach of confidential employee data which had occurred. The letters sent out by Sabre state that in September of 2023, an unauthorized party was able to access the data stored on the Sabre computer network and extract it, later posting the information on the dark web. This breach affected data belonging to over 29,000 individuals and may have exposed names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account information, driver’s licenses, signatures and employment documents.
