Saint Xavier University is a private college in Chicago, Illinois.  On October 30, 2024, the school sent out notice letters regarding a data breach of its computer network which had occurred between June and July of 2023.  During the breach, hackers were able to access private data maintained by the university — possibly including names, Social Security numbers, and financial information.
