U.S. Radiology Specialists, Inc. experienced a large data breach in December 2021, which affected not only their sensitive patient information, but also patients of Gateway Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology Ltd., Charlotte Radiology, Touchstone Medical Imaging, and Diversified Radiology of Colorado. The breach is alleged to have exposed patients’ names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, as well as protected health, treatment and medical information.
