Urban One, Inc. is a media company based in Silver Spring, Maryland which operates over 50 radio stations throughout the United States. Recently, Urban One sent out notice letters regarding a ransomware attack to their computer systems which compromised sensitive data stored there. Some of the data stolen was posted by Ransomware gang “Cactus,” who took credit for the theft, on a data leak website. This information may include names, Social Security numbers, bank account information, and tax information.
