West Texas Gas is a natural gas distribution company that services residential and commercial customers in Texas and Oklahoma. ( Areas serviced: Lubbock, Amarillo, El Paso, Weatherford, Pecos, & Permian Basin regions.)

On October 9, 2023, West Texas Gas sent out notice letters to 56,587 customers whose information had been accessed by hackers in a breach to the West Texas Gas computer system. The information stolen may include customer names, Social Security or Tax I.D. numbers, and other personal information.
