Western Electrical Contractors Association Inc. (WECA) is an organization that supports merit shop electrical contractors in California, Utah and Arizona. On August 29, 2024, WECA sent out notice letters to 35,000 people notifying them that their data was involved in a breach to WECA’s computer system. They had discovered that earlier this year, an unauthorized party breached the WECA computer system and accessed private files store there.
