ZOLL is a medical device manufacturer that not only manufactures devices such as ventilators, defibrillators and aspirators, but also provides medical technology to hospitals and patients. On March 10, 2023, ZOLL Medical Corporation sent out letters to more than 1,000,000 patients notifying them that their sensitive information had been exposed by hackers during a security breach to ZOLL’s computer network. The data compromised includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and birth dates.
