Benchmark Hospitalists & Intensivists is a company which handles physician staffing needs for hospitals in California. Recently a well-known ransomware group announced that they had hacked into the network belonging Pacific HealthWorks, a healthcare management service organization with which Benchmark Hospitalists partners.  Reports are saying that Benchmark Hospitalists data was also affected in this breach, with the following information possibly having been stolen: names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, addresses, phone numbers, medical records, billing records, and health insurance data.
