Title 9 Sports, Inc. sells women’s athletic and fitness apparel. They have stores in California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington as well as a website that customers can order from. On February 21, 2025, Title 9 notified the Vermont Attorney General of a data breach to their system which exposed sensitive private data in November of 2024. The data breach notice letters Title 9 sent out further explain that names, contact information and Social Security numbers were accessed during the breach.

Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
