Elkay Genetic Information Privacy Act Violations Investigation

Location: IL

About the Investigation:

Illinois residents - Have You Worked Or Applied For Work at Elkay?

About the Investigation

The Illinois Genetic Information Protection Act (GIPA) does not allow an employer to ask about your family’s health history, since it violates their privacy rights.

Siri and Glimstad LLP is investigating Elkay — the manufacturer of sinks, faucets, drinking fountains and other foodservice products — regarding claims by Illinois residents that they were asked about their family medical history during either the application process or their employment with Elkay. If you live in Illinois and were asked within the last five years about your family’s health history by a manager or someone else at Elkay during the hiring process or your employment there, please fill out the form on this page.

If this happened to you, contact us today to see if you qualify for compensation!
