Heartland Community Health Center provides medical services to the community at their clinics in Lawrence, Kansas. On November 27, 2024, Heartland sent out data breach notice letters to patients, alerting them that their private information had been exposed during a hacking incident back in October. The data accessed by the hacker may include names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or ID numbers, medical information and health insurance information.
