NC State University Cancer Cluster Investigation

About the Investigation:
NC State University is located in Raleigh, North Carolina and is home to 38,000 students and 10,000 employees. Poe Hall is a contemporary style, seven-story building on the campus which is made of concrete and stone and was built in 1971. It is frequented by hundreds of staff members and students within the Psychology and Education Departments for classes, research and other activities.
Recently it has come to light that the level of PCBs at Poe Hall is higher than the allowable limit within the building. PCBs are polychlorinated biphenyls, which are highly carcinogenic chemicals banned in the U.S. since 1976.
The attorneys at Siri & Glimstad are investigating claims made by individuals who have spent time in Poe Hall and went on to develop cancer or other serious health conditions.
