New Era Enterprises, Inc. owns difference insurance companies, including New Era Life Insurance Company of the Midwest, New Era Life Insurance Company, Philadelphia American Life Insurance Company, and Life of America Insurance Company. In December, New Era Enterprises, Inc. discovered a data breach which affected sensitive data stored in their computer systems. On February 11, 2025, the company began mailing out notice letters to affected victims, informing them that both personal information and protected health information was exposed during the breach.
