Perplexity is an AI research tool that offers paid subscriptions allowing users to access advanced AI models and resource databases. In January of 2026, Perplexity modified the restrictions placed on its “Perplexity Pro” users, reducing the number of “Deep Research Queries” allowed from 500 a day to 20 per month. No announcement was made of this change beforehand, and many users – some of whom paid for a full year subscription upfront – only learned about the change after hitting the new query limit.

Our attorneys are looking for individuals who both (1) subscribed to a paid Perplexity subscription prior to and through January of 2026, and (2) did not receive any refund from Perplexity for the changes made to their subscription.
