Xactus LLC is a technology company which supports mortgage originators. The company is based in Broomall, PA but they claim to have over 6,500 clients and 65,000 users of their software. On February 14, 2025, Xactus sent out notice letters alerting affected individuals of a data breach to their system. The breach occurred through an email account and may have exposed names, financial information and driver’s license information.
Data breaches are serious matters that can cause long term damage. Hackers break into networks so that they can steal your personal information to sell it on the dark web, commit identity theft, financial theft or other frauds.
