Kellogg Company Employees – Genetic Information Privacy Act Violations (GIPA)

Location: IL

About the Investigation:

Illinois Kellogg Company Employees - Did Your Employer Ask You About Your Family's Health History?

If you have been asked about your family’s health history at work or during the hiring process, your employer may be in violation of Illinois law. The Illinois Genetic Information Protection Act (GIPA) does not allow an employer to ask about your family’s health history, since it violates your privacy rights.

Siri and Glimstad LLP is investigating claims from Illinois residents who are employed by Kellogg Company that they were asked about their family medical history during either the application process or their employment.

If you live in Illinois, work for Kellogg Company and were asked within the last five years about your family’s health history by a manager or someone else during the hiring process or your employment, please fill out the form on this page.
